PNR RailWorks Marks 60th Anniversary
PNR RailWorks is celebrating its 60th anniversary and reflecting on the company’s legacy of a small family construction business that has evolved into a full-service railroad contractor with locations across the country.
Since its beginnings in 1961, PNR RailWorks has grown from a small business to Canada’s largest rail infrastructure solutions provider, serving Class I, transit, and industrial customers across the country. PNR RailWorks, which traces its origins back to G. Brown Contracting with just a few employees, is now a major corporation, employing nearly 1,100 people across the country.
“Over the past 60 years, PNR RailWorks has approached work and relationships with founder George Braun’s business philosophy in mind: know your business, do it well, and treat others the way you want to be treated,” said Kevin Riddett, RailWorks President and CEO.
With an impressive track record of successful projects, a solid base of satisfied customers, and the industry’s top experts, PNR RailWorks is proud to build on its legacy of moving Canada ahead through essential railway and transit projects.
